Somali Youth United is underway to creating a sports league division. The goal of the sports league is to provide the youth with an after school or weekend activity to look forward to. It keeps them actively engage in physical activity, which not only provides adequate fitness but also teaches them to work as part of team in basketball, and soccer tournaments. Recruiting efforts are in progress to develop this league. It should be free to the public, details are being worked out, inputs are highly recommended from all the youth community who want to be involved in life changing experience. Tournaments shall be available for middle school, high school, and college students. More details shall be posted soon.

Please email us at info@somaliyouthunited.org or somaliyouthunited@gmail.com if you are interested in playing in the Somali Youth United Sports League for Basketball and Soccer Tournaments. Include in the e-mail name, age, school you are currently attending, and best times you are available to play in the league. Based on everybody's schedule, SYU will work on setting up time and place to host training, playing location for the tournaments.
